Catching Fish in Three Mile Creek

I've gone on plenty of walks on the Three-mile Creek Trail in Leavenworth, and although the creek isn't very big, it does have fish in it.  In August I had a free evening with the kids so we went to see if we could pull anything out of it.  Sure enough, I caught a chub!  We also caught a sunfish or two and a bass.  They weren't very big, but sometimes it can be really fun pulling a fish out of skinny water. We also took some time to play in the creek and catch some crawdads and tadpoles.  Time well wasted!
