Pondering Ultimate Sacrifice at the Ft. Huachuca Cemetary

My wife has a thing for cemeteries.  She likes to go and walk through the headstones.  Maybe it's because they're usually quiet places to think.  Maybe it's because she used to be on a grounds maintenance crew (aka grave digger as she sometimes says) at one.  Who knows.  But we've had quite a few good walks through cemeteries over the years.
I surprised her one afternoon by kidnapping her for a visit to the Ft. Huachuca Cemetery.  There's lots of history here planted 6 feet down.  We saw the final resting spot of veterans of Vietnam, Korea, World War 2, and World War 1, as well as some Apache Scouts from the Indian Wars.   It was a great spot to visit in the afternoon.
The graves that always leave me pondering a little more deeply then the rest are the ones for the unknown solders.  Thank you veterans for all of your sacrifices for our freedoms.
