Fairbank Ghost Town

A few weeks ago we stopped at Fairbank- a ghost town on the banks of the San Pedro River.  It used to be a railroad town, largely there to service the mines in Tombstone and the nearby cattle ranches.  The rails are gone now, and the town has basically folded up as well.
There are still several structures still standing, I counted eight.  The most famous is the schoolhouse.  There are a few barns and other outbuildings and an old gas station as well.

We also wandered up the hill to the cemetary.   It's barren, forlorn, and beautiful out here.
Nearest City: Huachuca City, AZ
Location: N° W°
Time Needed: 30 minutes- 2 hours
Difficulty: Easy
Kid Friendly: Yes and No.  It's flat ground, but there are plenty of pieces of broken glass on the ground.
