We had a short break from school and work yesterday afternoon, so we decided to go and try out a few of those flies Ashley has been tying. They work! We went to a pond here in Fort Collins (the North Shields Pond) and had a great time pulling in little bluegills. They weren't big, but they sure were fun! We caught several dozen before we had to go. We'll definitely be back for more.Ashley was hilarious when she caught the first one. She had tossed her line into the water and missed a few. When she hooked one she let out a scream. As she reeled the fish in, she kept saying "I can't believe I caught one!" The smile says it all!
